About Us
Ian and Erin Downs have been working with International Students Inc. since 2001. They started serving internationals while they were studying at Pasadena City College in Pasadena, CA. Then, for more than 13 years, they focused on California State University Northridge in the San Fernando Valley. A large and dedicated team of volunteers continues the outreach there.
In 2016, Ian and Erin moved to Pullman, Washington to make a difference with the 2,500 internationals at WSU and the 900 or so at U of I in neighboring Moscow, Idaho. Ian and Erin work together recruiting and training volunteers and welcoming students to the community and equipping them to be leaders.
